Centres such as Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, Charney Manor and Swarthmoor Hall offer a programme of courses, retreats and other events. Explore the nature of the clutter that distracts from our life’s purpose and consider how to create space in our minds and hearts as well as in our living rooms.

We will trace the early Quaker story in its historical context, explore the development of the Quaker vision and look at the movement’s leading figures.

• Mindfulness, Compassion, Health & Well-Being

Mindfulness meditation can help you develop compassion for yourself and others, which in turn supports your own health and well-being. This retreat also includes optional sessions of yoga and tai chi.
